Jennifer C. Britton, Ph.D. investigates the brain function of individuals with and without anxiety across development.
Amishi Jha, Ph.D. investigates attention and working memory and how these core selection processes may be modified with mindfulness training.
Lucina Q. Uddin, Ph.D. uses neuroimaging to study the relationship between brain connectivity and cognition in typical and atypical development.
Aaron Heller, Ph.D. utilizes neuroimaging and experience sampling to better understand the temporal dynamics of positive emotion (i.e., how we sustain or do not sustain positive emotion) in healthy individuals as well as individuals with mood disorders.
Elizabeth Losin, Ph.D. combines theory and methods from neuroscience (fMRI), psychology and anthropology to explore how we acquire our cultural beliefs and practices, how these beliefs and practices shape psychology and brain function, and how both processes impact human health and health care.

Director and Assistant Director
Pradip Pattany, Ph.D. is the Director of the Neuroimaging Facility. He has been at the University of Miami since 1993 and is currently a Research Associate Professor in the department of Radiology. His areas of expertise include implementation and optimization of advance scanning techniques for MR imaging and spectroscopy.
Ekaterina Denkova, Ph.D. is the Assistant Director of the Neuroimaging Facility. She is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Amishi Jha's lab. She investigates emotional autobiographical memory and self-generated thoughts, and the impact of emotion regulation and mindfulness training on those.
